License Agreement
What the Standard License and the Exclusive Buyout each grant you, and where the boundaries sit.
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Standard License
A non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use one purchased codebase for one end product. The same codebase may be sold to other customers.
- You may modify, rebrand, and deploy the product commercially under your own name.
- You may publish the resulting app to Google Play, the App Store, or your own hosting.
- You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the source code itself, modified or unmodified.
- One licence covers one end product. A second app requires a second licence.
Exclusive Buyout / Play Store Transfer
An Exclusive Buyout transfers full intellectual property rights in the listed product to you. Where the listing includes a published app, we initiate an official Google Play Console app transfer or unpublish our listing, as agreed in writing.
- The product is permanently delisted from this Store after transfer completes.
- Existing Standard Licence holders keep their prior rights — a buyout is forward-looking and does not revoke earlier sales.
- Play Console transfers are subject to Google’s own eligibility rules and timelines, which we do not control.
Free claimable packages
Free packages are licensed for personal and commercial use with no fee, but carry no warranty or support commitment. Attribution is appreciated and never required.
Third-party components
Codebases may include open-source dependencies under their own licences (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD). Those licences continue to govern those components; our licence covers only the original work authored by Bengal Bytes.
